The Infinity Module RND is built around a circular suspended track, allowing users to choose and arrange different luminaires according to their needs. This flexibility makes the system suitable for a wide range of environments, from commercial spaces to residential interiors. The design's strength lies in its adaptability and the ability to serve as an art object when multiple rings are combined into a single composition.
Available in white and black, the low-voltage track system is safe to touch, adding an extra layer of user-friendliness. The track ring comes in four diameters, ranging from 1500 to 4000 mm, accommodating various space dimensions. The luminaires are dimmable and support the DALI Digital Protocol for individual or grouped dimming, offering a high degree of control over the lighting conditions.
One of the challenges CENTRSVET faced during the design process was developing luminaires that could be installed into curved tracks. The team also aimed to avoid the issues associated with magnetic systems, where side-placed contacts can be damaged over time. The solution was to place the conductive path in the center of the Infinity track, allowing for a spring contact element that ensures a reliable connection to the power supply and control system.
The Infinity Module RND was first presented in October 2019 at the Bentley Flying Spur presentation, marking Bentley's 100th anniversary. Since then, it has been recognized for its innovative design and functionality, earning the Silver A' Design Award in 2021. This prestigious award is given to designs that demonstrate outstanding expertise, innovation, and a high level of excellence.
Designed by CENTRSVET and patented by Rospatent, the Infinity Module RND represents a significant advancement in the field of lighting design. Its unique properties and the creative vision behind it make it a standout example of how design can combine functionality and artistic expression to create a product that is both practical and visually appealing.
